Job Description:

We are looking for a strong leader who can supervise our Bogotá team of digital marketing and video experts and serve as a liaison to our main headquarters in South Florida, United States. The ideal candidate has solid project and traffic management experience and can efficiently plan, execute and monitor internal and external projects with little to no direction. This person must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish and remain committed to supervising each phase of our projects efficiently while meeting the agency’s quality standards. 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise local office operations and ensure team members are working to their best capacity
  • Plan out projects and create project timelines, anticipating tasks and time to completion, which include setting deadlines for deliverables and tasks
  • Monitor numerous open projects at a time and determine which ones are falling behind
  • Generate weekly progress reports to clients in advance, improving project delivery
  • Analyze timesheets and coordinate resources at each phase, assigning projects to key team members and balancing workloads
  • Manage budgets, participate in pricing calculations, and advise on best strategies to negotiate project costs
  • Review quality standards and work to satisfy project needs
  • Adapt to changes in customer demand and adjust deliverables as needed
  • Capable of communicating clearly and confidently in English, especially when managing team from abroad
  • Write and implement processes that improve the production flow of incoming projects and ensure timely project delivery
  • Effectively use resources to make decisions, conduct meetings, and perform risk management
  • Coach creative team members when necessary and provide mentorship to achieve productivity goals, if necessary

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years working in a project management role at a digital agency OR direct hands-on experience leading multifaceted advertising campaigns as an account director
  • Proven leadership experience, leading creative teams and optimizing productivity
  • Strong planning background, preferably from an ad or creative agency (traffic management)
  • Solid knowledge of Project Management methodologies and best practices. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Comfortable operating in multicultural and multilingual environments. Full proficiency in English and Spanish is required. 
  • Tech-Savvy, proficient working with digital tools: 
    • Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word. 
    • Project Management software like Podio, Asana, Redbooth or Base Camp and time tracking tools like Clockify or Time Doctor
    • Knowledge of Hubspot  (CRM / CMS) and inbound marketing fundamentals is a plus
  • Collaborative team player: Have a can-do attitude and be adaptable
  • Organized, analytical with strong time management skills. 
  • Accountability and ownership are essential for this role

Education:

  • Professional in Business Administration, Project Management, or Mass Communications
  • Formal education or coursework in Project Management
