Marketing Communications Manager 

 

 

Job Description

We are looking for a creative Marketing Communications Manager who enjoys working with clients to bring their ideas to life. Our ideal candidate will create, implement, and oversee content marketing programs that effectively target and promote Trifactor and our clients in the form of video and digital content.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Propose marketing communications strategies that ultimately drive the creation of an effective content marketing calendar.
  • Manage all marketing communications projects for clients with a strong focus on client service and account management.
  • Create catchy promotional copy in the form of blog articles, eBooks, video scripts, and landing pages to help Attract, Engage, Qualify, and Convert leads.
  • Service clients, lead client meetings, plan content marketing efforts, and execute them with style by working closely with other team members.
  • Publish digital marketing content, monitor campaign performance, and report back on their effectiveness.
  • Oversee the implementation of email marketing efforts for Trifactor and key clients.
  • Scout, interview, and recruit new writers and/or creatives to participate in our freelance network for specialized work.
  • Serve as a messaging coach on shoots to guide clients and help them feel comfortable while in front of the camera. 
  • Lead brainstorming sessions with the creative team, ensuring that communication strategies are accounted for and influence the client’s goals and objectives. 
  • Proofread all video scripts, CTA’s, on-screen text, and brand messages to comply with the agency’s quality standards. 
  • Own and implement the agency’s content marketing plan, including social media engagement, workflows, email sequences, ad management, and inbound marketing tactics.
  • Ensure all team members create content that speaks to the right buyer personas, uses effective tone, tempo, and drives results.

 

Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in storytelling and delivering creative presentations.
  • Effective intrapersonal and communication skills with demonstrated expertise working with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing and communications.
  • Tech-savvy and efficient at managing website content updates, especially on Hubspot’s marketing automation platform.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and analytics.
  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
  • Strong business acumen, consulting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and coordination to influence the decision-making for client projects.
  • Plan and manage your own workflow, priorities and results accomplishment.
  • Present and disseminate data to various levels.
  • Interact and effectively communicate with a diverse employee and clients.
  • Recommend on the overall look and feel of the marketing communications materials being developed so that they stand out in the marketplace and appeal to our ideal target clients.
  • Work well with all team members and represent the firm in a highly professional manner at all times.
  • Utilize independent judgment and make sound decisions when clients request advice or direction. 
  • Improvise, pivot on a dime, and brainstorm new solutions as needed.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, motivated and a performance-driven attitude.

 

Education:

  • Minimum 3 years of Marketing and/or Mass Communications experience.
  • Basic B2B/ B2C marketing or sales experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Fast-paced, corporate marketing or agency experience, managing client relationships is preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel when necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress, Hubspot, HTML5 & CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Bachelors in Marketing, PR or Mass Communications.
  • Creative thinker with proven examples of writing catchy copy that sells (portfolio is preferred).
