Overview

Director of Sales and Business Development (Hybrid / Remote)

Trifactor is looking for a fully remote, goal-oriented B2B sales professional, who understands the software/technology industry and digital marketing landscape to sell video marketing & content marketing solutions across multiple verticals. We’re looking for a hunter, who can enjoy the sales process and connect well with sophisticated product marketers to help them achieve their strategic goals and objectives. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business sales by hitting monthly revenue targets, starting with the software and technology industry and/or other relevant industries.
  • Think critically and successfully develop new verticals and service offerings that create repeatable sales for the business. 
  • Own new business development functions by prospecting, calling on leads, driving discovery meetings, building a sales pipeline, taking detailed notes, and onboarding new creative partners.
  • Use a consultative sales approach with prospects to identify problems and propose video marketing solutions.
  • Use LinkedIn, Seamless AI, and other prospecting tools to find our target prospects, initiate cold calls, and schedule discovery calls. 
  • Follow the agency’s sales process, update our HubSpot CRM, and proactively turn opportunities into wins.
  • Build relationships with client’s staff to position the agency as a long-term creative partner across departments. 
  • Collaborate with Trifactor’s Executive team and other team members to close new business. 
  • Update deals and maintain a healthy pipeline, assisting with forecasting, planning, timeline management, preparing contracts, and client documentation, etc.
  • Prepare proposals and make sales presentations as needed. 
  • Travel to visit prospects and existing clients regularly as needed and as appropriate.

Skills & Requirements:

Note: This is not an entry-level job; proven marketing and client management experience is a must. We're also looking for someone who knows the software sales or tech industry.

  • At least 5 years of sales/client management, marketing, public relations, content production, or advertising experience.
  • Thrives in a sales role, driven by goals and KPIs.
  • Knowledgeable in growth marketing strategy, digital marketing, and video production.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for helping others.
  • Superb time management and able to juggle many different initiatives.
  • Ability to be proactive, assertive, and responsive to client needs.
  • Organized and able to multi-task to turnaround inquiries quickly.
  • Tech savvy and experience working with Zoom, Google Suite, Hubspot, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills in both verbal & written.
  • Proactive and self-starter, adding value, hitting goals at all times with minimal hand-holding.
  • Thrives when cold calling, networking, and working outside of the comfort zone.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred, but not required.

Education:

  • BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Mass Communications, Journalism or a related field

Salary:

  • Base : $52,000 - $60,000 per year*
  • Plus Commissions & Bonuses: Up to $85,000 - $105,000+ per year*

*In this role, your compensation range is entirely performance-based. Your earning potential starts with a salaried base and can exceed $105,000+ in earning potential, depending on monthly bonus incentives and commission pay outs.
